The room was spacious and very clean. It was definitely a room with a view! Also, We enjoyed the attached patio area that came with the room. I would certainly stay at the Residence Inn by Mariott Riverview again! A great place to stay with lots of amenities.

The hotel is only minutes away from downtown Charleston. The location is ideal for quiet time with the family. There is no parking fee compared to hotels in Charleston which could cost upto $15 per day. The room was clean and the breakfast every morning is great. Highly recommend the hotel.

My Girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights between Christmas and New Years. Even though it is a few miles from downtown it was great value compared to the prices being asked for downtown hotels. No charge for parking at night here....

We really enjoyed everything about the hotel. Staff were helpful and very friendly. The hotel is just a bit hard to get to - it took us a while to figure out the easiest route to take. (30 is the easiest way into the city.) The free Breakfast was a nice treat as was the wine and beer at dinner time. Very clean hotel.

Not having been to Charleston before, my wife and I chose the Marriott from past experience. We weren't dissappointed. Friendly help, clean hotel and amenities as we expected made this trip very enjoyable. The river view was great and we were close to downtown which made for easy back and forth trips. Definitly would recommend.

The Staff & Service of this hotel was behond expectations! After checking reviews of other hotels right in heart of Charleston, took a chance that Mariott Riverview would live up to other reviews! except that the charge was listed as $100........
when we went to the room, the pamphlet said: $75. I inquired about this and the receptionist simply said: it's an old brochure.

They were renovating rooms, so it was noisy.

The breakfast and evening food was very good.

We stay there from 6 Mar. 07 through 8 Mar. 07 and enjoyed Charleston greatly!

The breakfasts were great - making your own Belgian waffles, then eating them - yummmm! Location suited us very well - downtown Charleston was 5 minutes away. I like the suites - gives you more room to spread out. Feels like home away from home. The hot tub was great after walking all day! Loved my stay there!

Great location and proximity to food establishments, Historic District and Charleston City activities. This was our 6th trip to this area and your property provided an excellent choice for 4 of us in the 2 bedroom suite.

Service, rooms, social hours and all aspects were "top notch" and very relaxing. We look forward to a return trip!
