How can you possibly post reviews when this hotel isn't scheduled to open for another 2 months???

we liked having our own villa better on our second trip. We stayed at villa palmyra and loved it. It was also much cheaper and we had our own pool, etc.

We went there for our honeymoon last year and it was just perfect. We had so much luxury and the island was like being our own private land.
Only wished there was more nightlife there. The place pretty much closes down at 11PM.

liked the beach the people and my investment lol.they have outside pool area that is so great swim up bar for the pro drinkers lol

READING THE REVIEWS PRIOR TO GOING TO MARTINEAU BAY RESORD AND SPA MY HUSBAND AND I WERE A LITTLE CONCERNED. WE WERE PLEASANTLY SUPRISED.QUIET, PEACEFUL, EXCELENT ROOM SERVICE, NICE GIFT SHOP, BEAUTIFUL POOL AREA. WE WERE AWAY FROM THE POOL, RESTURANT, LOBBY. I WOULD DO IT THIS WAY AGAIN. JUST RENT A CAR AND YOU CAN DRIVE TO THE POOL AND OCEAN OR WALK. WE WERE ON OUR HONEYMOON, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR QUIET PLACE STARTING OFF A MARRAIGE.

Went expecting much less, but it was just so perfect and beautiful!
The food and drinks are pricey since all is imported from the "Big Island"(Puerto Rico). The beach is very nice and the pool great! Also do go to RED beach,and Blue beach...excellent for swimming and snorkling! The manager Mr. Rabin Ortiz is excellent and very accomodating!

I found that the people working here were very nice. The rooms as mentioned in many reviews were large, had extremely comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and a nice balcony. The only think was the food was a little pricey, but if that is a problem there are many other places to eat. ( try Cafe Espainola, its worth the very long wait)
