THIS PLACE WAS A DUMP. OUR TOILET OVERFLOWE, IT TOOK OVER 2.5 HOURS FOR SOMEONE TO COME FIX IT AND THEN THEY DIDN'T CLEAN IT UP. PLACE NEEDS A LOT OF UPDATING. I WOULD NOT TELL ANYONE TO STAY HERE

We were at the Quality Inn, in Souix City for a wedding. We had several rooms blocked off. It didnt matter what room you were in, the AC didnt work. There were rooms with water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, none of the room keys worked on the first swipe, the service was lacking in ways I have never seen. The first room they put us in was a smoking when I had requested non-smoking. They got us a non-smoking room. The toilet was disgusting!!!! Looked liked whoever stayed before us had a bit of a problem and then the cleaning people did not clean it. The staff was nice and did come down and clean the toilet. I would only stay here again if I couldn't find another hotel within this price range.

I am a constuction worker that has stayed in the old Hamilton Inn portion of the Quality Inn.
#1: The people at the front desk act like it's a chore to get off their stools and help you. Plus they are very unfriendly.
#2: If you ask for any matinence, it takes 4-5 times to get any response from the crew.

When this hotel was first built, it was like the first of the conference type hotels in Sioux City (I think started out as a Holiday Inn). It is now certainly older, but because of it's origins has what I would call better "bones" than most. But it is now an older facility, decently maintained.

All of the problems written about elsewhere on the internet have been resolved. The only issue at hand is the beds being a little stiff, but the replacements are on the way (actually saw the boxes of some new ones). The renovation is complete and I have nothing but praises for the property. Indoor pool / whirlpool / sauna / exercise room is a definate plus. Great stay!

Stayed at the Hamilton, they had free wireless internet to all guests, rooms were clean and smelled nice, just got done booking a second stay for Father's Day Weekend.

The facility was run down. The entire place smelled to cigarette smoke, even in non-smoking rooms. Apparently pet friendly by the number of dogs seen in the building. Pool chemicals were imbalanced causing the water to be cloudy and caused minor skin irritation. Facility has potential but management needs to refocus its attention.
