A nice friendly hotel ideally located for the theme park with is just a short walk away. This hotel is ideal for a get away from Chicago. My family & I stayed there on a trip from Milwaukee.

Every year since 2000, my family and I have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites hotel in Gurnee, Illinois. We stay overnight to attend Six Flags Great America the next day. It has always been a great stay.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel in June of 2006 and it was great. My husband and myself took the kids to Great America for two days and we had a great time. This hotel provided a wide variety of entertainment for our family while visiting our son for his graduation from recruit training. The staff was friendly and helpful and the pool and hot tub were awesome. The near by eateries, mall and theater made our stay in Gurney a delight.

It was very comfortable and accommodating to our 4 young children; however, I thought the amount of money we had to pay for each room was very high considering what you received for that money. Our rooms were no different than a regular room. The suite however was bigger but a t.v. should have been in the separate room.

We loved the Country Inn. The location was fantastic. Because of its location, we were able to walk to Great America and not waste money on parking. Also, they gave us coupons to save on the tickets. Also, the hotel is located really close to several restaurants and also Gurnee Mills.
