We stayed here for a week. The bed was huge and comfy. Even with my 3 year old son the room was not cluttered. In a great location and the staff were very friendly. We plan to stay there again this summer:-) Highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here on June 29-30, and had an incredible time. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a perfect downtown location (several blocks from Powell's. . .all we REALLY cared about). After I mentioned it was our anniversary, they sent up a lovely bucket with champagne and chocolate, complete with a card ...

The downtown Marriott has a small town feeling to it. Our room was a bit small, but clean and well-appointed.
The lack of a restaurant due to renovation was a problem. The buffet served in a meeting room was limited in the dishes, which were the same every day.

"Confirmed" room type was not available despite 5pm check-in.. concierge a bit curt but all's well that ends well. Hotel did provide an extra breakfast coupon to compensate.
