My family and I recently stayed at Costanoa for two nights. The whole atmosphere of the place has potential but does not live up to the price they are asking. Costonoa is a nicer version of a basic campground. It is not what you would view on their website. That place doesn't really exist. You can find a place like what the website presents ...

Pretentious & Overpriced with Poor Service

Location is beautiful, with a beach right across the road. The individual campsites were not that special, and quite close together so on a busy evening there is not much privacy. The price was also high (55 bucks for night!) - but the other amenities are great -- the showers/comfort station alone was worth $10 and you get a great breakfast for two in the morning included in the price.
