This is the most charming and relaxing place you could pick. The hotel is a museum by its own right, designed by Mary Colter. The porch, the restaurant, the rooms: better than perfect. Highly recommended!!

Traveling across 40/66 in AZ, my family of 6 found La Posada a convenient overnight stay. The reconstruction is a real success and shows much of the hotel's character. As soon as I walked inside I felt like I had stepped back in time. The relaxing atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, the outstanding menu in the restaurant, the cozy rooms, the overall ambiance make this a definate place to stay whenever I am traveling along interstate 40. I can't say enough about this beautiful resort!

we have stayed at laposda several times in last 5 years--the ambiance is wonderous and for the place the rates are very competitive,as wekll as being central to the many, many things to do and see in northern arizona..we like it enough we use it as stop if going/coming to/from other destinations. and, the restuarant is very, very good. treat your self
