Very pretty hotel... clean and nicely designed. Very MIT influenced. Unfortunately the manager and staff is incredibly rude!! My friends and I came for the labor day weekend, and the night we arrived, we all decided to plan out our itinerary for our next couple days. Apparently, the walls in this hotel is paper thin and our neighbors could HEAR us ...

My Son and Daughter-in-law had their wedding at the hotel, and the entire event was perfect. The staff and the event planner could not have been nicer, the entire staff treated us like we were family. It was a wonderful time, Food was beyond excellent, service was perfect. The wedding was on the roof terrace, and it was beautiful. My favorite thing ...

Best stay ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/08
I loved this hotel. It was a great stay for the price I paid and I was treated like a queen. I traveled with my daughter and niece and we had the best time ever.

Perfect hotel for the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/07
Compared to other priced hotels in Boston this was a good deal. Booked on priceline and was very happy. We were going to Fenway Park and found out it was within walking distance. A nice walk about 1 1/2 miles. Beds were great. Front desk was very helpful as this was our first time in Boston. Would definitly stay here again.

Highly recommend

My husband and I were looking for an affordable hotel to visit family in the Boston area, we stumbled upon Hotel@MIT through Hotwire, and were thrilled. Beautiful, clean and the beds were amazing! We had a very rowdy crowd in the room next to us, so I called down to the front desk and they took care of it right away. The decor was really unique, ...

OUT OF THE WAY

Well priceline has this hotel as a four star, as does AAA. I hate to disagree, but I have been to many three star hotels and they were far better.
Bedding/radio/bathroom were ok. The extra parking cost on top of the room cost is not worth staying there.
This hotel was in a bad part of town, so when they say you only have to walk 3 blocks to ...
Travel a lot and this is my favorite hotel in the US. If you like science, engineering and technology you will love the displays and pictures on loan from the MIT museum.

Technically Perfect Wedding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/06
I attended a wedding at the Hotel @ MIT, staying there over the weekend. How beautiful ! There are cool robots in the lobby (ones that actually walked on the moon) and simple, elegant decor. The beds were among the most comfortable, and internet connection was FREE in the room! I guess that should be expected with MIT in the name of the ...
Disliked: Smells plastic, "MIT high-tech" image too cheap, cheap fixtures (some broken), small bathroom, too few TV programs

Geek-heaven, but really comfortable and convenient
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/04
The Hotel@MIT is by far one of the most modern hotels in all of Boston or Cambridge. Walking in, you know you are close to a high tech mecca, from the equations on the wall behind the front desk, to the circuit board inlays in the dressers, you feel as though you've walked into geek heaven. Everything in the room feels new -- even the sinks in ...
