    Right in the middle of downtown, this place is great for tourists and shoppers. Haven't quite figured out the decor yet but it is a very nicely appointed hotel. The bar turns into a very, very loud DJ scene at night (great for socializing! G

  • You've got to go to Hotel Sax Chicago!

    Sleek, Chic and Sophisticated! Wow, this hotel will blow your mind. If you are looking for a grown-up get away in the city, this is THE place to be. The hotel has an amazing bar called, the Crimson Lounge that is so beautiful. They also have an adults only game room if you want to play the night away.

  • A weekend to remember

    My fiance surprised me with a mystery trip to Chicago last weekend. He had heard great things about the Hotel Sax from a co-worker, so he booked a room for us there. I am SO thrilled he did!

    Clean, nice furniture, new appearing, awesome shower (I gotta get that shower head, it was like for circus animals!), plenty of room, nice location, nice lounge.. overall a great stay for a great price. Free internet!

  • Wouldn't stay there again.

    First off let me say the bed, 42" plasma TV, and staff service were all great. The room was always clean and was well stocked with plenty of (typically high priced) snacks and enough alcohol to drop an elephant.

    Now that that is out of the way on to the other issues...

    No internet... the 2 wired jacks didn't work and the wireless ...

    We stayed here between 3/20/08 to 3/23/08.From the moment we left our car with the vallet, we knew we were in store for a treat. We entered the lobby to welcomed and assisted by the bell boy.     It was fabulous, for the price in 2004, as the House of Blues Hotel. Great area in Chicago, Go to the Mambo Grill for dinner. Enjoy live music at the House of Blues Hotel.

    This hotel was totally beautiful. Hip, chic decor from the lobby to the room. Super-comfortable bed (almost better than my bed at home), spacious rooms and bathroom, and awesome showerheads. I work for a travel agency and have stayed in numerous downtown hotels, but the Hotel Sax has definitely taken a spot among the top of my list of favorites. ...

    We had great service from the minute we walked in. The desk upgraded us when he had difficulty finding our reservation because I gave him the wrong name. It was our fault and he still apologized and upgraded us. Their crimsom lounge is so much fun - we eavesdropped on the concierge trying to accommodate some really drunk and difficult guests. ...
