Very trendy. Upscale but not uptight. Close to everything that "says downtown Denver!" The service is great. The people are friendly. They have an excellant bar. Many nice looking guests! Better value and better location than most hotels. Easy access to LODO, Capital Hill, and many other Denver landmarks.
This hotel has the best location...it's close to a ton of downtown attractions: restaurants, theater, the convention center, and more. The service is impeccable and it's a great value, too!

Romantic Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/05
Excellent, attentive, detail-oriented service on their anniversary package! Rose petals on the bed, all-inclusive dinner, spa visit. All staff seemed to go overboard to make sure our stay was special.

It's a Dog's Life. . .Literally!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/05
How can you not like this downtown Denver hotel where you are greeted by Lily Sopris, a Jack Russell terrier who is Director of Pet Relations and hotel mascot at the Hotel Monaco? And if your pooch is with you, his name is displayed on the Welcome Board at the door. When you check in you are given the necessary poo bag, dog-walking maps, and ...
The service was so wonderful, i enjoyed the whole stay. Great room service and they also had a car that helped us get to the best night spots. very convienent to downtown and all of the young hip lifestyle, but also very serene and relaxing and a great view of the city.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/05
The Hotel Monaco is a sophisticated hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. It's not large, opulent and dramatic like some other luxury hotels. Rather, it understated, elegant and cosmopolitan. The lobby is bright and inviting and the staff are extremely cordial and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful sitting area near the lobby where they ...
Beautiful hotel..but they gave away our reserved room and then we had to fight for the only room left..a suite, instead of just giving it to us. Our carpet had fleas..I had bites all over my ankles. The restaurant,Panzano's was excellent. We probably will check out another hotel next visit.
