After Lamu town - which was less than relaxing - this was a wonderful retreat. Not one for kids or students - not much to do at nights, but the staff were absolutely great. Incredibly friendly. Favourite memory is kayaking among the mangroves and being watched by black-faced monkeys. Also a dhow trip (with most of the hotel staff) along the coast to bid farewell to some South African canoists.
when i visited this hotel, i was amazed by tha hospitality of tha workers, yu are first greeted with a free coconut juice in a coconut shell, tha food is fantastic with all kinds of nice nutritius fish served in a traditional way,tha free music installed in tha freshly ventilated rooms, with a big view of tha beach, i cant recall ma visit there, its was money worth.

Relaxing, secluded getaway

Service and food were excellent. The rooms felt very private and secluded. It felt like an exotic, out of the way place. The rooms were detached and had beautiful beds and comfortable furntiure. Electricity was on only a few hours at night which I thought was nice. All the rooms are along the beach.
