Nice suite-style hotel at extremely reasonable rates: less expensive than lower-quality non-suite hotels in the area.

Free breakfast *and* free dinner! Ample space, perfectly reasonable ammenities, clean, free wifi, nice staff. Good location: you can walk to a couple restaurants/shops; easy access to Silicon Valley destinations. Definitely will return.

We spent 3 nights in the Hawthorn Suites, and this hotel was the best hotel we stayed in our family trip from Gresham, OR to San Francisco, CA. The 2nd floor security door is disabled with duct tape, which gives complete access to anyone to the entire hotel through the stairways. Recently I stayed at this location. the rooms are newly remodeled. A very clean hotel. The morning hot breakfast was so good, I like the make your own Waffle.
I Will keep coming back to this hotel, whenever I am in this area.

This was a decent hotel, but had a real cheap feel; more like a motel. I loved the breakfast in the morning (so did the kids!), but was much less impressed by the fitness facilities. The staff were nice and friendly. Not a place I would seek out again.

I was very disappointed with the hotel. For one thing, they hiked the rates on me. I also don't like to stay in hotels with dirty carpets, and this one was very dirty. It had stains all over it! We checked out after one night and found another hotel that had 50 times more class, and was cheaper to boot!

I had a very comfortable stay at the Hawthorne Suites in Santa Clara. Met my expectations and needs. Will definitely stay here again!
