Sam and the other staff members made us feel like family; the accommodations are wonderful; the location is perfect. We've traveled around the world and this is as good as it gets! I would make a trip to Cape Town just to stay here again. The hotel is on an enclosed courtyard with restaurants and outdoor seating so one can stay close to home or go out for food/entertainment.

A beautiful small hotel with the most engaging and savviest personal service I have ever experienced. It's away from the touristy harbor area, near a good street market and within walking distance of the museums, interesting shops, etc. Excellent restaurants share a courtyard with the hotel--a welcome convenience after long days exploring the spectacular coast and countryside.

There is no better place to stay in Cape Town. The owner Nick takes a personal interest in the guests and Sam and Mel take wonderful care of you. My only hesitation in writing this review is that I'm not sure I want too many people to discover this gem. I've stayed there a number of times and always look forward to returning.
