Great Hotel! They really went all out to make my stay amazing. It is a little way from the city(if 10 blocks is far), but less that 20 feet away is a "T" stop that took me anywhere I wanted to go. I liked the fact that it wasn't in the heart of all of the chaos. Upon arrival, they made every attempt to make sure that things were ...

We love the Seaport!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/06
I have been going to the Seaport Hotel every Valentine's day with my boyfriend as a fun way to celebrate and relax. We absolutely love it! The service is excellent and the rooms are always spotless. There are a few delicious restaurants right in the area, or it is just a short taxi ride to other parts of the city. We would never stay anywhere else!

worst experience

The staff was unfriendly and unccoperative. They were very unprofessional and the hotel is very overated and expensive. The location was not close to anything in walking distance and taxi's were expensive. Traffic was awful and just basically congested. The finance dept. is inept and basically don't care about their guests.
My fiance and I stayed there based on the nice pictures on the website. It does not look anything like that. There are buildings blocking a lot of the "harbor-view" rooms view. Bed was ugly, furniture looked cheap. The pool was just a lap pool, no jacuzzi was seen. We tried to make the best of it, but it just wasn't right. Left after ...
My daughters and I went ot Boston to see a play and stayed at the Seaport. This is what all hotels should be like! Upon arrival, they greeted us with smiles, welcomes (they gave both my daughters small teddy bears) and asked if we needed any assistance with our bags, transportation, or anything else. They arranged for our transportation to and from ...

We loved staying here and would be our first pick the next time we travel to Boston. Service was terific and the rooms were clean along with top notch ammenities. Although the hotel is not close to much, its a short walk to Jimmy's and No-Name and a short taxi ride to other parts of the city.

Not close to much, but great hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/04
The Seaport was built as part of the project to bridge the gap between Boston's Financial District and South Boston.
The Seaport is the first of a few hotels, conference centers, and restaurants to fill this gap, and it is doing it well.
Being close to the airport and the city, the seaport allows you to enjoy it's quality ...

Traveled to Boston for first time in Sept 2001. Excellant facilities. A little bit of a walk (10-15 min) to tourist areas. Beautiful view of harbor, and very close to Anthony's at Pier 4 (best food in town!!). Room was beautiful, service was excellant.
