My local partner booked me at this hotel, but this was a low class hotel. Staff was very poor in Egnlish and could not communicate at all. I wanted to have breakfast in my room and I wasted 1 hour for waiting. In the end I missed it. Their standard is the same as motel or guest house. I will never go back to that hotel.
I may prefer to select Novotel for next visit.

Great central location, however it has seen better days and could do with a makeover. Staff are helpful and attentive (mostly) however it is expensive relative to other hotels which seem to be more ready to do a deal.

I have stayed several time in Tai Pan Bangkok and it was all the time very comfortable stay. They recommended me to stay in Vientiane as well. But it became totally different. Service and facilities are so different. Vientiane Tai Pan does not have any business related servcice. Only a good thing is to be near to the river.

I made a mistake to select this hotel because of price. I should not complain but I got what I paid. Room and facilities are limited. Definately this will not be for business travellers like me.

Bad service and very difficult to communicate with staff. No value for what I paid. I will not come to stay again.

this is not the hotel, no facilities for busines travellers and just like a guest house.

There are a few things in the world, with which we would feel more comfortable, and even happier. These differ from one place to another when on the road.
Tai Pan Hotel is one of few things of that kind to me in Vientiane.
When circumstances do not allow me to stay there, my comfort and happiness would go a notch down.
