The Novotel staff is friendly and helpful. I stayed 9 days; working during the day and exploring on the weekend. They answered all questions and were quite attentive. Surprisingly comfortable bed and nicely located next to the train station (Gare de Lyon)
My only complaint is with the bathrooms (not at the Novotel - all around - why are they so SMALL?)

lovely district close to metro and bus services restaurants good food excellant in hotel. Rooms spotless staff so friendly. Breakfast great couldn't believe the bathroom extras were replaced every day (i.e. bath gel, shampoo etc)

We stayed here a couple of years ago because we had to take a night train to Milan. Gare de Lyon is almost connected to the Hotel & very convenient. The rooms were clean, there was a nice pool which families seemed to enjoy and the restaurant had a "no smoking" area which was great. The staff were friendly, helpful and kept our luggage most of the day while we waited for our train. We would stay here again.

Great location, right across the street from Gare de Lyon--really useful if you need to catch an early morning train. Nice breakfast (~12 euros). Rooms small, modern decor.

Hint: Ask for a room above the 2nd floor--it's quieter--the lower floor can be noisy.
