we cant wait to go back again this year!Me and my friend went to new york last August for 6 nights it was fantastic, we stayed at hotel 31 after reading the reviews i was a little worried but the hotel turned out to be so good we are staying there again when we go this november. the staff were really friendly and the hotel was spotless. we stayed in room 809 it was a shared bathroom ...1 of 1 Yahoo! We can't wait to go back!My sister and I stayed at Hotel 31 in Sept. of '06. I was so impressed that we are taking a party of five to stay there again this year!
From the front office to the elevator to the rooms .... everything is small but squeaky clean! We even peeked into the shared bathrooms and they were immaculate!! Make reservations right now!This is the sister hotel of hotel 17, my favorite hotel in New York.
It is just as clean and pretty,
but a lot smaller, so you have to
make your reservations really early.
Also, the neighborhood(although
safe and convenient)is not quite as
lovely as that of the 17.

Great hotelHotel 31 was in a great location, near the subway (Train 4 or 6), Times Square, and all the sights to see in NY. We had a great view of the Empire State Building from our window.
The hotel had a lot of NY character. The rooms were clean and the shared bathroom was not a problem. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

I wish I can get a room in Julymulti cultural staff. and direct to the aminities promptly. room was so comfortable including cleanliness. We got shared bath. but it was so clean and according to health and hygiene. Staff attitude was so nice.

Great place to stay even for a romantic getawaythis place is great very friendly and clean. I have been there twice and it's always better everytime. I enjoyed my stay and the people are very friendly.

Nicer people do not existStayed here twice last summer, the place is not the most beautiful or extravagent of places, but wherelse gives you a comfy bed, adequete facilities, a view of the empire state from your window, the most beautiful people you could ever meet all for less than £20 per night.
