Went there very positive and left very negative. Reading other people's posts just makes me wonder why this hotel continues to exist. I wonder who will be the first casualty of this so called hotel. Enough said.

In all fairness I think you should close this hotel down. People are getting robbed by the staff. I had my iphone and some petty cash stolen from my room. You have Severe Security Issues in this hotel not to mention the unsanitary conditions of the rooms and premises.
I am reporting your hotel to the Srilankan Tourist boared. Maybe they'll do something about it.
I would NOT recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone !

I only wish I read the reviews of this hotel and saw this webpage before I took my family there ! It would have saved us ALOT of trouble !
Obviously there's no smoke without a fire and this review page just lays it all out perfectly straight about what a crummy dump this hotel really is !!

I wouldn't say that its the best boutique hotel in Srilanka let alone the world. Try making it the best hotel in the neighbourhood first and then you can conquer the world. Bear in mind that Amman Galle Hotel, Lighthouse Hotel and The Fortress Hotel which are all very close are uncomparable in all ways to the Sun House.

Filthy hotel. We left after 2 days. Not worth one dollar to stay here. The sun house hotel in galle is definitely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in our entire lives and would not go back even if they paid us !!!
Internet never working, inhospitable service, dirty (to say the least), no view and quite a distance from anything really.

Its not really worth the money. Rooms are poorly equipped and dirty with creepy crawlies all over the place. Staff not very polite either and its quite a walking distance from the fort.
