The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

like: Some times there are "Hole Tears" and "Hotels", this is truly a Hotel, Upscale, Classic Sleep and Peaceful, Calming view of the Waters-(Lake Michigan) very elegant place to stay, I love it. Because I felt like I was home.
Dislike: I dislike leaving, because I enjoyed & embraced Q minute I stayed @ the Peninsula

This hotel is one of a select few that set the standard for all others. The physical accomodations are very impressive, and the staff is polite and helpful.
I have recently stayed at several major downtown Chicago hotels while in the city on business. This is one that I would highly recommend, along with the Four Seasons.
