Pricey without outstanding service and quality. Plus we had to pay an extra $18 per day for valet parking which we were not told about ahead of time. Our "harborview" room had a wonderful view of a parking garage.
We stayed here for one night and it was great. The entire staff was amazing and very friendly. The queen beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, it was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow. I loved it and would defninitely go back!
When I called to inquire about parking, the gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude, so i canceled my reservations, they lost a loyal customer that day.
We stayed here one night to attend a concert in the city. The hotel was located right beside a big mall which was convenient. However, parking was tough - basically, you had to use the hotel's valet service which is not free. There are parking gargages in downtown Norfolk but I didn't see any close to the hotel. It was a professional gals' night out and we decided to find a room in the city. Our room was roomy and pleasing. Service was good--we asked for extra towels late into the evening and was promptly taken care of. It was convenient to the mall and plenty of restaurants.

Best place we stayed at on the whole "Canada Trip"!!

There is nothing not to love about these places. Wonderful friendly people. "WOW!" rooms. I went on this trip with 12 other people. We stayed at 8 different hotels while on this trip, these hotels being between North Carolina and Niagra Falls, Canada. Marriott was the one hotel that stood out among all.
