I had to call maintenance 4 times in 5 days because of dysfunctional services (shower, safe, wet floors); management was extremely rude saying that I was probably lying about it just to get a refund (I never asked for one!). Much better value, cleaner, better management comparable hotels: The Mill, Divi Phoenix, Tamarijn & Amsterdam ...

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It is a good value and located in a decent area near restaurants, beach, and all the more expensive resorts which are accessable even though you dont stay there.

I stayed here in 2005 and it was the nastiest place I have ever stayed. The floors were so dirty we put towels down. Never saw a vacume just a broom. Fixtures were rusted. Service was awful and I got sick. Would never stay again!

I love that it is so close to food, beach, and shopping. I don't like that it is not directly on the beach, but it is only a short walk which isn't that bad. Only about 100 yards.

We have stayed at the other fancy and very expensive hotels in Aruba. They are lovely but way over priced for the time of year that we go. We started going to Brickell Bay 4 years ago and are very satisfied with the cleanliness as well as the courteous staff. It is very much like a Holiday Inn or Howard Johnson's at home.
