I did a lot of footwork to try to locate the best hotel in the area. So many of them are just horrible. I know, we stayed at one that had great reviews. We stayed here based on a reccomendation from family and was very happy. Great service, great breakfast, CLEAN! And yes, it is gated with security. Keep in mind that any hotel in the area is. The area is better than others in a 30 mile radius.
I called the hotel by courtesy phone at the airport. They redirected me to the reservation desk. Even though I insisted to pay by cash they wanted my credit card number (now I know why). The hotel itself was good...the staff nice and personable.........location left a lot to be desired.....room was clean, but had a musty smell (bought some febreeze and it helped) Breakfast was average. This is the only hotel i've ever been to that was fenced ,gated, guarded, with multiple security cameras.

Suite with a -Real- Hot Tub

For special nights out I like to get a hotel room with a hot tub, a real full sized hot tub, not a bathtub with jets, and the Holiday Inn Express fills the bill. I liked the location of this hotel. We made reservations a week before we arrived, and when we got to the hotel, they charged our credit card 50 more than what we agreed on. We tried to get them to refund our money and they said that we couldn't get it back for at least 30 days. We reserved a smoking, two double bed room and when we arrived, ...
I will have no trouble staying again as I like being treated like someone special. Being a handcapped person I often find alot of motels don't know what is ment by special room and beds are. That's not the case here. Even the service people go the extra mile!

Poor Service Experience

The hotel did not clean my room.
The manager was not accommodating and rude. Staff was fine.
I'll never stay at this hotel again and will seriously consider not staying at another Holiday Inn Express because of this poor experience.
