A pleasant surprise

This is an apartment complex converted to a hotel. The rooms are very large, clean, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped (complete kitchen--dishes, glasses, pots/pans, even salt and pepper!) Location is perfect.

Not ritzy -- but a nice quiet place, spacious, and reasonably priced. Breakfast, high speed internet, comfortable. What more could I ask for?

A small apartment for the price of a hotel room!
Having a full kitchen and living room (plus covered parking) makes extended trips far more comfortable.

Rooms are clean and the DSL works, and some rooms have WiFi coverage, though that seems to vary based on which apartment you get.

After about three months of spending 4 days each week here, I'd recommend it for anyone staying in this area over an extended period.

Pretty good space for the price

If you're looking for something more than a small hotel room at a decent price, the St. Francis Arms is a good possibility. The place used to be a regular apartment complex but is now corporate housing. So my room for example is like a regular 1 bedroom apartment, yet has daily hotel-like room cleaning service.
