The hotel is a very nice hotel and has great amenities. I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing that was disapointing was the guest service. They need to work on making the guest feel welcome. and on being a little more professional. and assisting.

Our company had made reservation and stayed there for a couple of weeks. Had no complaints about the rooms but customer service needs improvement. Several times tried to call the hotel directly and most of the time the phone is never answered.

We stayed there for 2 nights, and it was very nice. Close to the beach. I loved the bed linens; they were so wonderful and so soft. The actual beds were very comfortable with thick mattresses - slept great!! The breakfast in the morning was actually pretty impressive. Good coffee too! Friendly staff, and love the complimentary guest computer in the lobby. Very kid friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

The HIE Carpinteria was a pleasant surprise. Due to the lack of rooms at the Santa Barbara Holiday Inn, we were directed to this location. The room was quite large with nice furnishings, very clean! Through work, I've had the pleasure of staying at different Hotels in and around Santa Barbara. The Holiday inn located in Carpinteria is just a few miles away from central SB. It's a very clean and peacefull.

Not on the beach, but close enough to walk everywhere. Nice place to stay. Good family beach. Restaurants close early on Sunday, so was hard to find somewhere to eat. But great place for a family vacation.
