Great Weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/08/07
Family of 6 (4 small kids) stayed sat night, Apr 28. King suite was fantastic with all new furnishings. Sleeper sofa was Queen sized!
Location is great to hit Trade center area, South st Seaport, Brooklyn bridge, Tribeca and Greenwich Village. Yes, you do have to walk but that is the fun, exploring. BRING A STREET MAP.
Arrived 9am sat, ...

Maybe good, but depends on the room location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/07
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel over one weekend. Although we booked "Harbourview" room with higher rate than "Cityview", we were put in a cityveiw room around the couryard. Since we had already unpacked our suitecases when we noticed it wasn't a room we requested, we decided to stay the room. When we went to bed, we ...

Great value + perfect to stay with children
By greg_maksk, 03/10/07
Great value for money (especially for NYC), great location for walking around, much more quiet and cleaner comparing to Times Square area (we stay at Crown Plaza on our previous visit). Suite offers great conveniences for travelers with children. Buffet breakfast is nothing special but included in the rate. Internet access is 10$ extra.
I will recommend this lodging and will also be wishing to book accommodation there next time we are in NYC.

Great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/07
This hotel has a lot to offer especially large families. The cook-to-order breakfast will save the traveler in NYC a tremendous amount of $$ and the manager's reception offering free drinks and appetizers is also a plus.
Its a short walk the the blue and red subway lines so its easy to get around and there a number of restuarants very close ...
The Picture is actually quite misleading. It makes it appear it is right on the water when it is actually a block and a half away (I am writing this from the hotel itself). Unfortunately I have to stay two more nights because I prepaid for the stay. The Breakfast is horrible. The rooms look like they are 3 years past due for renovation. I have to ...

Christmas amazment

I am 16 and last christmas my family and I went to New York for our christmas vacation. We were there for 7 days and 6 nights. Being there on christmas was amazing. The hotel was also amazing. When you first walk in it is beautiful. Very open and elegant. Everyone is so warm and inviting. There are about a dozen open internet computers in the lobby ...

A rough night's sleep!
By Stacey H, 08/11/06
The service in terms of housekeepig was great, but the beds were horrible!! They were old(er), soft and did not have box springs! This was our first time in NYC and we love the Embassy Chain but will not return to this particular hotel. It truly is meant for a one night stay without a family. More meant for business!! We requested a regrigerator ...
