July 4th weekend for 30 bucks less we could have stayed at La Quinta, or several other corporate chains. I'm so glad we didn't. The service was GRAND! Very friendly staff, although our waitress at the free breakfast had to be hunted down a few times with a large party, the food was great though. This was a rare treat for us and we were ...

Not a pet free resort! They lied!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/07
The hotel room was adequate and the location was adequate. For the same money I could have gotten even closer to the slopes and probably avoided the allergy problems I faced throughout my stay.
I have major allergies to cats and dogs and the hotel told me before I made the reservation that they were a pet free hotel. I always have to check due ...

Summertime is also great here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/28/06
Arrived late July and had the best 7 days ever staying here. Had three adjoining rooms that were beyond fantastic complete with beautiful views off a very nice balcony. Beds were perfect, our kitchen was first class, bathrooms(I had 3) were spotless. The restaurants had excellent food thruout the menu. I loved the Southwestern Tuna Sandwich at ...
This is the nicest hotel I have ever been to. And the prices drop during the off-season, making it nice for a fall getaway! I hope to come back during ski season and experience all the hotel has to offer!

Best hotel in Steamboat!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
Steamboat Grand really pays attention to detail. From the moment you arrive til the moment you leave, you will feel like you have been completely pampered. The spa is incredible. The pool and hot tubs are extremely nice...especially after a long day of skiing. The boot and ski storage center right next to the ski resort really make life easy, ...

The Grand was very beautiful it made me feel as though it should have cost much more than it did. The valet was very nice and helpful and everything was kept amazingly clean.

Absolutely Stunning!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/04
When you drive up the main avenue to the hotel, you'll be amazed at the shear size of the resort - from the lifts, it looks even bigger! Lobby and our deluxe king room were beautiful and still charming especially considering how massive the place is! Outdoor heated pool, game rooms, a variety of restaurants and lounges and most importantly beautiful views of the mountain side! The Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel lives up to its name.
