The hotel is not a full service hotel. It offers a bare-boned room- the cabin was sparsely furnished, not clean. The grounds were construction zone, the restaurant abandoned. We had to scramble up a hill to get in to it in the driving rain, no steps. Every hotel in Costa Rica had security measures, this had none so there was no feeling of security. ...

Though I stayed here several years ago (I was about 13, I'm 25 now), it definitely left an impression on me. I stayed in a Fountain Suite cabin. It included a large room with floor to ceiling windows with wonderful views of the mountain scenery (with queen-sized bed and table and chairs) and another bedroom and bathroom.
