Here's the deal. You get to stay in the park, footsteps away from the entrance to Tikal National Park. That's what you have to keep in mind. That's worth alot because the buses roll in around 7:30 or 8:00, but you can get into the park right when it opens at 6:00 am (earlier, I guess, if you are sneaky).

We reserved a room for four people online with Jungle Lodge and not only did they not have a record or our reservation, but told us to find a hotel room somewhere else. They would not refund our money back ($204 USD) even though they confirmed our payment. They also had major construction going on and the place is a mess. Stay away from Jungle Lodge.

Our room was not so clean, the staff was rude overpriced.
