I lived here for 4 weeks back in the summer of 2000, when it was brand new. Can't say much about the services at the beach, they weren't finished back then. Very good food, nice rooms and nice staff. Ate by the pool every morning, really miss that. It's the place to be, but don't forget to see the rest of Algiers! :)

I stayed in the Sheraton for three nights and it was like living a dream....the food, the rooms, the service.. everything was top.

If you like good entertainment, try having dinner in the restaurant when there is a traditional musical soiree going in. It is a must if you to experience Algerian culture.

i wasn't so sure at first but after getting there i absolutely loved it, of all the hoels I've been to in cities like New York, Paris, and Milan the Sheraton Algiers is above the rest without a doubt. Friendly staff with excellent service, great food and a vibrant culture, you really can't go wrong. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for anything and everyting in a holiday definately 10/10!!!!

I thought the hotel had poor service, badly organised, allways a queue to complain. The food was more like 3 star than 5 star, should be downgraded. The staff did what they wanted when they wanted, it fealt like we were an inconvienence and they were doing us a favor but we had to pay for the privleage. The beech was good and it did feel ...

Service and food are the worst ever experience.

Service: Even though the hotel architecture is nice, they do not have any idea of what is "service" - from 10 min to 30 minutes for a coffee ordered at the lobby; over an hour delivery time for room service (when they do not forget you)....

Food: very nice selection of restaurant, ...
