We are in the first night of our 2 night stay at the Hotel Palomar. We have stayed in many Kimpton Hotels and appreciate the furnishings and cleanliness of them. Although the staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful, the room has not lived up to our expectations for the money. I do not find this a family-friendly hotel. There are very few ...

Lovely place in San Francisco

Great hotel: Great services, really good beds, perfect location. Highly recommending it! But the weather in SF in the summer tends to be cooler than what many people think :) I went to the Symphony, and of course downtown is very close. And you can take MUNI from the hotel. Great hotel: Great services, really good beds, perfect location. Highly ...

One Of THE BEST Hotels EVER
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/06
From the moment I pulled up in front of the hotel, I was greeted by someone who took care of my car (Francesco), a second person who unloaded my car (Trey), and a third person who helped checked me in (Ernest). I only told ONE person my name, and all THREE people remembered it throughout my entire stay. Every single employee treated me with extreme ...
This is a nice boutique hotel right in the heart of San Francisco. The rooms are very smart with very nice bathrooms. The Fifth Floor is a great restaurant, although the original chef has left.
The hotel's location at the corner of Fourth and Market means it is within walking distance to a lot of the city's attractions. I have stayed at the Palomar a few times and always liked it.
I loved it all. They have beautiful decor with Leopard Print carpet, Down Comforters, High Thread Count Sheets, the water is soft so my showers were elegant and my hair was so soft afterward. They had Aveda products in the bathroom. They are dog friendly. The parking is way too much. Parking should be FREE! But definitely no more than $20 a ...

Excellent Service

The staff of Hotel Palomar are very helpful and friendly. I arrived at a different time than my husband and was waiting to meet him. They showed me up to the room and made sure I had everything I needed.
I loved the Hotel Palomar! It was a little pricy for me but well worth it. We ate breakfast at the Fifth Floor (in the hotel) everyday and it was incredible! I highly recommend this hotel
We've stayed at the Palomar on several occasions and will continue to return. The small, understated lobby is a welcome change from huge impersonal ones. Rooms have nice touches such as Aveda products, soft robes, CD players with a great selection of music and Yoga classes. Its location, so convenient to Union Square, is perfect. If you enjoy ...

Not well organised service

1) A pair of shoes was not shined badly with wrong colour and shoe laces spoiled (no confirmation paper in shoes telling who had done this bad job. Only compensation from the hotel you was a new pair of shoe laces. Since this bad experience I stopped to use your shoe shine service.
