Staff nice but trouble with management

Hotel a bit old

It was a very comfortable convenient and a good choice of restaurants. A big plus was free wideband internet connection in all rooms. It was far from downtown, but a few blocks from the office. It was far from local tourist spots and there are scooters on every square inch of the roads. Not a bad hotel I'd stay there again.

I stayed once as hotel I ussually satyed was fully booked.. however, found Ambassador is much better in terms of location and hardwares.. I preffered stay in downtown as it takes me only 16 minutes to Science Park.. a lot leisure activites to do.. Royal is too remote and is relatively a small hotel compared to Ambassador .Yes, if you are looking a hotel only with location close to Science Park

I stayed at the Royal Hsinchu on a week-long business trip. I found the service to be top-notch and the rooms spacious, with a distinctly oriental understated luxurious ambience. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurants are excellent.

The location is conveniently near the Hsinchu Science Park for business travelers. If I find myself in Hsinchu again I'll definitely stay here again.

YOu get rebates to go shopping at SOGO's dept. store. No other place give you this kind of deal.

The place is off the main city center but only a cab ride away. The Ambassador might seem cooler but there you pay more and get nothing back except more people greeting you each day.

I'd rather hang out with a better TV set and programs ...

If you are in Hsinchu for business with the Hi-tech companies this is the place. A real five star and only 10 minutes from the science park, have stayed down town, needs 40 minutes for one way. The Hotel offers full range of restaurants and gym, very personalized and attentive service plus free internet in the rooms.
