Liked the location, refrigerator/microwave in rooms, wireless internet, and friendly staff. Did not like the extremely uncomfortable beds, poor maintenance of the rooms, and street noise. This hotel could use some attention to important details to avoid looking shabby.

This was my first trip to Alaska. The hotel is within easy walking distance to downtown attractions. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. The full breakfast buffet is a great amenity. Shuttle service to and from airport and railroad station was prompt and courteous. Just a phone call away.

I STAYED FOR 2 NITES & EMPLOYEE WAS ACCUSING SMOKING IN THE ROOM & CHARGE W/OUT ANY INVESTIGATION. INEXPERIENCED SECURITY & HOTEL STAFF ASSUME A SMOKE SMELL IN THE ROOM.WHICH MIGHT OF BEEN IN THE OTHER ROOMS.
FOOD&BEVERAGE MANAGER WAS VERY RUDE & NOT WILLING FOR HELP WHEN HE HAD A PROBLEM DURING OUR STAY.

the toilet over flowed. the tub was dripping. the sink wouldn't hold the water. bottles of water in the frig. the beds where uncomfortable. the pool was not good. noisy streets and the keycard didn't work .

Things you do not want to hear from the service/management:

1. Would you like your room to be cleaned today?
2. We will bring everything you need to unclog your toilet.
3. I'm sorry, your keycard is not working again, because our computer is broken.

On top of that, you do not want to be charged twice for your room.

This is what we experienced with the management in December 2005. Will never stay there again!

Nice staff, but first night the toilet over flowed, tub leaks, sink would not hold water, open bottles of water in the frig. The beds were hard. The pool was closed for repairs. Noisy streets. My fault, but I left a shirt in the room after I checked out I called the same day I check out and the next 2 days afterwards and was told that room services would contact me, never happened.
