We would never stay here again. We found the David Intercontinental's amentities average and in some cases below, (roaches on the drink dispensers in the buffet area) and above all, the employees were unfriendly, lazy and rude. The lobby has a nice, open and opulent feel but the steep entry ramp made it difficult for walking into and out of ...

Dirtiest room ever!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/07
The location isn't everything for the price to be high. I stayed there for a month.. and the room they gave me had one of the dirtiest carpets I have ever seen (dirtier than the cheap motels in US). The carpet smelled bad too. Other things were ok. The hotel advertises free parking but they charge you $10 per day for parking and another $20 per ...

Tired annd Shabby
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/07
I don't know where most of the other reviewers were staying but it definitely was not in the same hotel as me and several of my friends. The rooms (with the exception of those on the 23rd,24th, and 25th floors) are in a shabby and worn state -- from the dirty carpets in the hallways, bathtubs that need to be replaced (mine had a peculiarly ...

Incredible Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/07
Our stay at the David Intercontinental in June 2007 was superb. The lobby and the whole main floor was beautifully appointed. Friendly service, nice lounge and restaurant area - and the view out the windows to the sea was spectacular.
The room was great - with a balcony looking out onto the city and the Medeteranian. Bed was very comfortable, ...
The I could have gone to the beautiful beach across the street! This place is great. I was at the David in November 2006 on business. Breakfast was excelent, including Western style fare. The rooms were ample, and surprisingly enough, even on the higher flors, the windows ope right up. Don't be surprised if you see a windows washer glide by unexpectedly: The rappel across the building on just a rope! Can't wait to go back.

the best hotel in Israel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/06
The rooms were the nicest I've seen for the price. The location is great and the lobby is great especially the Art Gallery located there. The food is good and there's a nice Cigar and wine bar thats open until 3AM. Overall it was really nice to stay there.

overbooked
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/06
The hotel was overbooked upon my arrival and my room was not availible. Over a 3 hr. period I was given 5 different excuses why my room was not availible. Eventually after going through the manager I was given a free upgraded to a very nice room. They stalled me and kept me in limbo for 3 hrs before giving in. After 12 hrs on a flight all I wanted was a bed.
