We had the opportunity to hear some really great blues at the Beach Place Court Yard. "unstrung", with Michael Spoor, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida...what a great show. His music will be remembered. I truly believe his life was lived to the fullest.

We stayed for a week in July of 2008. Once you are in the hotel you forget quickly the outdoor mall, complete with street pan handlers and pushy cart vendors you had to wade through. Beach Place offered us 2 bedrooms with a full kitchen
where the fabrics and furnishings were beautiful. Our
villa on a high floor had an awesome view of the
waterway along with 2 large balconies. The beach
is steps away and restaurants are in the building.
For our family gathering, 4 adults and a two-year-old,
Beach Place made our vacation a 5 star trip! We will
definitely return here.

Don't be mislead by several of the other reviews. Although the hotel shows some signs of age, it by no means should discourage you from staying here. This was one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever stayed at. We had a beautiful suite that faced the ocean. The room itself had everything. You felt like you lived there. The shops, the restaurants and you didn't have to go far. YOu didn't even have to leave the hotel if you didnt want to. Anyway I can go on forever. there is so much more. I highly recommend it.

it was located in just the right spot,there was so much to do in the hotel and the pool was clean.the service was excellant.the rooms were always clean .

I was excited about staying at a Marriott on the beach but this is really a worn out timeshare. It is not a full service hotel - no restaurant, just sleezy bars downstairs. Doesn't even have the standard Marriott Revive bedding. Lots of space but our faucets leaked, some appliances were broken, tv was old old old, and sofabed the worst ever. ...
