Stay somewhere else!

Unless you need to stay close to the airport and everything else is full, go somewhere else. We stayed here with the kids on a Saturday night and found the hotel to be dirty, crowded and in neeed of updates throughout the facility. The pool area was dirty and dark with sand at the bottom of the pool. The weekend breakfast hours were short ...

Decent Budget Hotel

Basic accomodations at a great price. Definitely a no frills kind of place, but the rooms were clean and the service was okay. Location wasn't very enticing - this hotel is on a very industrial strip of road. Fortunately, there are a few updated strip malls (Target, Chili's, I-Hop, Starbucks) within a few miles.

Highly recommend

This was an emergency stay for me on a business trip. I was exhausted when I got there and leery about what to expect. The front desk staff were very nice, professional and well spoken. The room was clean and very comfortable. Overall, this was an awesome experience even though the circumstances were not great. I highly recommend it.

The Worst Hotel

The service was very bad and the receptionist at the counter was very rude. There wasn't any ironboard in the room,even upon requesting, I didn't get it. I cancelled the second night due to medical reason as well as discomfort staying at the hotel.

The receptionist refused to check me out around 8 am and refused to give me the credit ...

We stayed there the weekend of March 24-26.

First of All... There was only One Employee that spoke clear smooth english. Everyone else we couldn't understand at all and NoOne could understand us. Im in Chicago alot for work and I have stayed at a ton of hotels in O'hare area. This place is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Especially after my last trip to the "other" Super 8 if you wanna call it that. I prefer to call it a dump.

After a mix up at the airport and going to the wrong Super 8 shuttle (my mistake) I got in the right one and finally made it to the Super 8 in Elk Grove. (Make sure you hop on the shuttle that has Elk Grove on the side of it if you do take one). Anyways the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. There were tons of ammenities I didnt expect ...

Pretty good for the $$

My family stayed in this motel in July of 2003. It was clean, the decor wasn't too bad, and the breakfast was really good. The staff was great, and we had fun in the pool, too. One drawback is that it is so close to O'Hare, you hear planes flying by pretty much constantly. Our two-year-old loved seeing all the planes, though, and it was surprising how quickly we got used to and didn't mind the noise.
