Don't be duped by the advertising that says they allow pets. We specifically booked a room here because they advertised in the local Chamber of Commerce guide & on line that they take pets only to find out after we got there that they don't. Our pets slept in the truck & we were still charged a $50 fee for them even though they ...
I am a traveling physical therapist and I relocated to the Tahlequah area for 3 months. Oak Hill offered a reduced rate for my long term stay at a very reasonable price. Cleanliness was average for a hotel. Wireless internet ranged from good to excellent. It is roomier than most hotels today. I never had a problem with insects or rodents. ...
I had out-patient knee surgery in Tahlequah, and since I lived almost 2 hours away, made a reservation to stay that night at this motel. They gave us a reduced rate and were VERY accommodating. It was clean and comfortable and the people were very nice. It was not luxurious, but did have a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and coffee ...
I stayed here many times in the last 30+ years; sadly, this will be the last. The quality of accomodations has dropped drastically in the last year; always a danger in older motels. There are too many choices in the Tahlequah area today to put up with ants, spotty internet service, poor water pressure and hot water in the morning only. Still the best price for a float-trip stopover, though.

It is really a cool place to stay

The people who work there are really nice. The hotel is close to both of the casinos. There is a really good Mexican restaurant next to the hotel. Rooms were clean and the bed were just right.

"I Shall Return"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/07
I've been in Tahlequah for 6 weeks on business. My stay here at Oak Hill has been wonderful. Ketan and Rita treated me like family. They are very hard working people. If I had a problem in my room they took care of it immediately. I slept great every night without noise from the outside. I would recommend Oak Hill to anyone. I've enjoyed my stay here in Tahlequah and wish the Patels many years of GOOD business. Thanks, Gerry Gabel

Best Value in Town

We were there 9/8/07. I highly recommend Oak Hill for Tahlequah, priced very reasonable, they were very accommodating, and it was clean and neat. For breakfast, they offered roles, juice, and coffee that I noticed. This is the best deal in town. If you want a total 5 star, pay for it! This is perfect for me.

Stay here is you want to be treated poorly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/07
For the first two days I my visit, I had no complaints. The furnishings in the rooms were dated and worn but clean. When the inn's owners realized that THEY had made a booking mistake, however, I was thrown out during the middle of a business trip. They didn't even do me the courtesy of calling me to discuss the situation although they ...

Oak Hill is the ONLY place to stay in Tahlequah . . .
. . . if you appreciate value, cleanliness and VERY friendly people. We stayed two nights with our two dogs, and proprietors Ketan and Rita Patel always were visible--working inside or out in the attractively landscaped grounds, always with smiles, always happy to answer any questions or serve their guests. They are a delightful couple, and their ...
