This hotel was cheap, well-located and clean. The front porch area is a good place to bring food and eat. The breakfast was lame: some bran muffins and coffee.

This was a nice little quaint hotel, located right across the street from North Beach. It was clean, although not very modern but sufficient enough. Decent hotel for the price. The breakfast was the typical danish, donut, coffee, juice. Not located in the heart of downtown, but in a nice quiet location.

Ocean Surf is a nice place for the money. It’s cost-effective while being well maintained. The staff was helpful. The rooms are clean. The TV’s were limited, but who goes on vacation to watch TV? There are no data ports in the rooms; there is only pay-for-use internet in the lobby. But there is a Library at the corner of 75th and Collins, 80 ...

no hot water in the evening, elevator malfunction, key malfunction.
They show our room to people while we are still in the room (once we were in bed!) without knocking or asking. Strong violation of our privacy (without mentioning that all our stuff was in the room, which make it very unsafe)
