I chose the Quality Inn because of it's location. I wanted something close to the Catalina Jazz Club and Hollywood Walk of Fame. While there were other accommodations in that same general area I decided on the Quality Inn after reading many reviews.

WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE STAY LAST WEEK AND GO TO ANOTHER. WE DO NOT LIKE THIS PLACE BECAUSE IT HAD BAD SERVICE AT THE DESK, AIR CONDITIONING OF ROOM DID'T FUNCTION,THEY DIDNOT HELP US, THE POOL WAS DIRTY, A CLOUD OF FLYES IN THE LOBBY, OVERALL, WAS DIRTY, OLD AND UGLY, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL.

I stayed in this hotel sme years ago. We asked for a room on a higher floor and we had a very nice view of downtown.The room was nice and clean and the restaurant was good. Overall a nice experience.

The staff were not helpful. The hotel was not clean. Vagrants begging in the area unpleasant. WOrst hotel we stayed on on a trip to San Francisco, Vegas, Hawaii. Very disapointing as we spent our last two nights there. To us it spoilt our ideas of the standards of Holiday Inns and we will not stay in one again.

I dislike the fact that the area is rather poor. The hotel room is fine once you are inside and the breakfast in the morning is great. The pool was dirty and there is no transportation to or from the hotel. If you want a nice hotel I would go elsewhere. If you want a nice room competitive price this hotel will do the trick.

Really good location in Hollywood...you can actually walk to a lot of decent restaurants (try Bossa Nova, just aroound the corner on Sunset) and attractions (Mann's Chinese Theatre, Walk of Fame), something one can't usually say in L.A. My family and I have stayed here 4 times within the last 2 years. It is an older renovated building. It is family owned and operated. The staff has always been nice and cooperative. The owners have always been nice as well. The rooms are clean and that is the most important part. So, if you are looking for convenience to the Hollywood scene. This is the best location and best value I have found.
