We visited Whiteleaf Hotel in Bayswater, London UK early in Jan 08.

I have to say that the hotel was very good value for money. The room rate was very good for a prime location Hotel in Bayswater London. The Hotel is easy to get to and the transport links in the hotel area are excellent.

Although London was great, this "hotel" was awful.
The hallway packed with laundry is a fire hazard. The electrical sockets didn’t work and the dark and dingy ambience of the room enough to send us running out of the hotel. The service was just as bad. The workers are rude and unhelpful.

Save yourself and DO NOT make the same mistake I did.

This place was scary! The rooms have no AC which is somewhat normal for London, but the rooms smell like a combination of body odor and bad Indian food. We spent the whole night at the internet cafe finding another place to stay for the remander of our trip just so that we would not have to spend it in the room. Please don't try it!

I'll be the first to admit that I was looking for budget accommodations, but this place definitely pushed the limits.
