My wife and I recently stayed at the Sleep Inn in Grand Island. It appears to be brand new or at least newly renovated. I asked the young gentleman at the desk (very friendly and knowledgable) He said they had been there for over 10 years now...WOW! You couldn't tell. The rooms were very clean. The one advantage to his hotel is it's location near the mall and other shopping. If your travel takes you down I80 and you're looking for a place to spend the night, check out the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express (both right at I80). This hotel is about 8 miles north.

We stayed five nights in july.The pool was great.We enjoyed the free breakfast and local paper as well as USA today.Im originally from grandisland,the location of this hotel is perfect.All the new stuff is on this side of town.Good eats Whikey Creek steak house right down the street yum!Thanks again Sleep Inn we will be back soon.
