I have stayed all around the country and this was by far my worst stay. Although the employee's were very friendly, the hotel was by far below average. The interior of the building is very old and run down.The breakfast room is small and my feet stuck to the floor, very dirty.The room
that i was given had a strong smell of urine. The very worst i have saw in 20 years.

overall my expirience was not as good as what i expected
the pool area was not as big and they didnt have many activities as expected

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on business. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection of good food and the complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening were good as well. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. I will be traveling to this city a number of times this year and would love to stay again.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. They even give you a soft and firm pillow for each side of the bed - the pillow cases have it sewn on them. I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before, but they will be my first choice from now on when I book reservations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were exceptionally neat, and the complimentary p.m. drinks and snacks, as well as the breakfast bar were tops. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations.

We chose to stay at the Holiday Inn because it is located right across the street from the Alliant Energy Center. We really enjoyed the complimentary food and beverages in the evening. The 24-hour pool is awesome! I recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Madison.
