I always stay at Holiday Inn Express during my frequent business trips to Okeechobee, FL. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms and facilities are consistently clean and fresh smelling, in part due to a no pets/no smoking policy, but also due to good management. I stay in this motel frequently for business and have no problems with it. Try to find a nicer one in Okeechobee. In case you haven't noticed, Okeechobee is not exactly high class. I have the perfect solution for those who have such a problem with this motel and Florida in general....Stay out of my state.

THE PEOPLE THERE WERE SO RUDE. THE ROOMS WERE VERY DIRTY AND THEY SMELLED. THIS IS A JUNK MOTEL AND THEY SHOULD BULLDOZER IT ALL DOWN. THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED

I found the hotel managements approch to guests as thorns in their side. I had reservations for a one month stay, made thru the 800 number 5 days in advance with a conformation number. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told my reservations would not be honored. That the hotel was private owned and did not have to honor ANY reservations made thru the ...
