My family and I have gone every year for a LONG time and have always loved it. Although this year the staff seemed to be REALLY grouchy and caused some grief, ruining our weekend. We decided to look for somewhere else to stay from now on.

i love it. my family has been going since before i was born. i am 17 and ive been goin all my life. there is so much to do, and there is alot of awsome stuff to do that is close and fun.

We have stayed at the lodge many times over the last fifteen years and plan to go back many more times! Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Yes, there are trains! Just turn up the A/C unit and you'll never notice! The pool looks beautiful, everything is green and lust!
Just visited again this week and they have made some great upgrades! The staff is always very accommadating and friendly, especially Rose!

It's great family centered environment is a great place to stay if you have children. There's plenty to do here. There's the swimming pool, game room, and the comal river. In the comal river you may swim, fish, or just feed the ducks. They also have canoes to rent. The employees are super nice and allways helpful. We visit here every chance we get.

My family stayed four days and got about 3-4 hours of sleep per night due to a train track that is right down the street! Blows horn all the way thru, one night it started at 4:00 am, then 5, 6 & 7:00 am. HORRIBLE! Unless you are used to the noise of trains, I wouldn't recommend you stay here.
