The location can't be beat, the view is beautiful year round. However, the hospitality was disapointing, and the food left a lot to be desired, especially for what they charge!
The condition of the inn is starting to demonstrate a lack of upkeep, a shame for such a beautiful, historic old building. There are many lovely B&Bs in the area, I would recommend looking further.
We had such high expectations for this place - We enjoy our wine weekend every year in the fall. The Mark Addy advertises itself to be much more than it is. Overpriced without much to offer

We arrived at the Mark Addy with high expectations. The room seemed well arranged and clean. However, the heat was not working and the temperature outside dropped to 34 degrees that night. Not a very comforatble place to be. As for the breakfast, nothing to write home about. All in all it's better to find other accomodations if you can.
