The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The breakfasts are great. At 2 PM everyday the Inn put out cheese/crackers and lemonaide for their guests and ended the day with home made fresh baked chocolate chip cookies brought to your room. On departure they also provided muffins for you to take with you. Each day the manager inquired as to how we ...
Arrived on Mackinac Island without reservation late afternoon Saturday 6/27 and stopped at information booth for Bubget B&B referral. Nicole was our first contact at this lovely Inn providing superior customer service with every request and for only $74.00 we received a lovely room #304 complete with full buffet breakfast, lovely wrap around ...

We recently stayed one night, June 9, at this lovely Victorian house/hotel, during the Lilac Festival. Usually I spend hours online carefully reading all the reviews I can find on a product, but we decided just the night before that we would do this. We never thought we could afford spending a night on Mackinac Island, but The Inn made it very ...
My husband and I stayed here on our second wedding anniversary (we stayed at the grand hotel on our honeymoon) and we loved it. It has a nice deck area with a spa hot tub and great front porch. I loved getting up in the morning, drinking tea and reading a book on the porch while the horses clop by. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms ...
I only have positive things to say about this place, and must address the comment that the inn smells... that is a falsehood. The room was SO cute, great view, comfortable beds, nice hot tub, and a great front balcony to have morning coffee and watch passersbys. It's 2 blocks from downtown which is great because it's close but not too loud. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone and plan on staying there again.

This hotel is not like any Bed and Breakfast I have stayed at before. Smells old and needs fixing up a bit. The decor was bad. Even my 5, 7 & 10 year olds didn't want to stay here. The sink was in the room instead of the bathroom which was so... small you could barely close the door once you got in. We pre paid so we had to stay the one ...
This is not the traditional bed and breakfast. It is an old victorian style home turned into a hotel that just happens to serve breakfast.
Our room was nicely decorated; however, the toliet overflowed and it took an hour to get someone to fix it. The air conditioning did not work, so it was quite hot several evenings.
It is located next ...

Sweet Hotel

We contacted the hotel directly and arranged to stay during the weekend of July 4, 2005. We paid over $300 for the room since it was one of the busiest weekends in the whole year and we were given the last room! We took the ferry from Mackinaw City to the Island. (There are also ferries that depart from St. Ignace.) When we got off the ferry a ...
