Had read some of the reviews prior to staying here;didn't think it could be that bad.Big mistake;it is that bad...food sucked,room was dirty.For what we spent ;extremely dissapointing.

Cabin was nice.Food was basically low grade Denny's at four times the price.Forty minute wait to be seated;forty minute wait for our entrees.Our server bought us all dessert...apparently this was the norm. Found a nice deli inside the park;much higher quality at 1/4 the price,without the wait.Ifanyone decides to open a real resturaunt here they would make a bundle.

Our cabin was nice,no T.V.,but that wasn't a big deal.Staff was freindly and helpful,location was excellent.The only problem we encountered was the dining room.Long wait to be seated,(almost an hour),with few customers,food was poor quality,(comparable to a low grade Denny's,without the speed of service and at four times the price).Waiter ...

Stayed just one night while visiting the North Rim. Friendly staff, Nice, clean and quiet cabin and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Would stay again.

My wife really liked the folks here so she made me promise to write a positive review.Here goes:Except for the food;this place is a lot nicer than Federal Prison.As for the food ;I've seen my rottweiler cough up worse looking stuff than what they're putting on the plates here.There:the positive spin.

Stayed last year in one of the older cabins;which left alot to be desired.The food at the lodge was wonderful though...some of the best of our entire vacation.This year we stayed in one of the newer duplexes and it was very pleasant;the dinner at the lodge however...it would be comical except we had to eat and pay for it!Just what the heck is a French Onion Bisque?Yuck.Better off with a frozen burrito from across the hiway;I'm serious.
