This is the most relaxing vacation my husband and I went on. their team of workers was great and very friendly and of course very helpfull since this was our first time there. If you are a fun loving, outdoorzy person then you would love this place, also there is a lot of fish there... just give it a try.... we are planing to go back with my whole family in about 3 weeks :)

A fine place to stop for a meal!

We were just driving by and stopped at the Bridge Bay Resort for dinner. The restaurant was located overlooking the lake and marina, a fabulous view. The food was good and reasonably priced. The resort is well maintained and includes a grocery store. There is boat parking in a large dirt lot next to the motel, or better yet you can rent a slip ...
Very beautiful area, simple rooms that are clean. Great views. They strive to keep the natural beauty of the area. House boats are wonderful. Staff very friendly. The restaurant is fabulous. Near tours of Shasta Dam, Shasta Caverns, Burney falls and a lot more.

Fantastic resort

If you plan to visit Lake Shasta, I highly recommend Bridge Bay resort. Its located nestled on a cliff overlooking Lake Shasta. The rooms are quite comfortable (especially the kithenettes) and the staff are very friendly. You can rent slips on the water if you plan to go boating, so you don't have to hassle with taking your boat out of the water each day.
