Location is awful

I have been spoiled by staying in either Montpanarsse or St. Germain before so this was a shock. It's just to far out of the main city to be honest.

The staff was very nice but I just really disliked the area.

Hotel is way too big for my taste as well and if you have issues with smoke, stay away, I am a smoker and even I was choking in the hallways.

I was shocked that Holiday Inn would have guest rooms so dirty. The carpet was so dirty I did not want to take my shoes off.

Good value for money

It cost me $2,600 for flight + hotel for 4 people (2 adults & 2 kids). Hotel was well located near Metro and reasonably priced eating areas.

Staff was very helpful although on check-out they couldn't find confirmation that my stay was paid through Yahoo Travel. I had to wait 20 minutes while my shuttle was waiting before this was resolved.
