This historic hotel is very nicely renovated with comfortable beds and nicely appointed rooms. The continental breakfast included fresh baked waffles. The front desk clerk was very efficient and knowledgable about the area. All in all it was a very nice stay!
We had vehicle problems during our big road trip and broke down near Morganstown. The tow truck driver took us to the Hotel Morgan because it was near the repair shop he suggested. We never planned on staying in Morganstown, but we certainly enjoyed our stay there. And, because it was so comfortable... our negative car break-down situation ended ...

The front desk staff was courtious and lobby appealing; however, upon entering the room we were met without a strong damp odor. Later in the evening, we took of our shoes stepped into a massive wet area ...

Hotel Morgan
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/04
I visited the hotel morgan and was very put out by one of thier empolyees. A girl named Kara insulted me and my guest. I found the hotel to be nice but another hotel in town, the Radisson, to be more suiting and with a better quality of staff.

Baby it's cold outside....

Possibly the greatest, and least known, feature of this hotel is the wonderful gem of a bar on the top floor. Any other bar in Morgantown is crawling with coeds, but not the Pinnacle Room. The bar is quiet, dark, and intimate. Looking out over the lights of Morgantown, one feels he or she is observing the scene from his or her own private study. It is the perfect place to sip classic cocktails and retire from the crowds of WVU students.
