The location and rooms here are good, although we found the service to the be the poorest on our trip!!

the elevators are big enough for 2-3 bolivianos or 1, 6' American provided they bend over a bit to adjuist for height, rooms are very old and the location is horrible right accross from where indians and protestors congregate in the thousands bringing dirt and foul smell and sights.

Excellent service, great people working always with an smile on their faces... Terrible location even if you have many local sotores just a few steps, which is good for shooping... you must to try

IT WAS A GREAT TIME, WE FELT SAFE AT ALL TIMES. AND ENJOYED BEING RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE CITY. THE FRONT DESK STAFF SPOKE GREAT ENGLISH WITH WAS VARY HELPFULL. THE STAFF WORKED HARD TO HELP US WITH ANY THINK WE ASKED FOR. THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE STAFF OF THE HOTEL PRESIDENTE IN LA PAZ.

Super hotel - massive rooms. Excellent cheap food in restaurant. Staff paid peanuts - be generous with tips. Excellent barber across the road $3 U.S. for a haircut. Lots of our group were suffering from altitude problems and couldn't wait to get to Buenos Aires!

Hotel Presidente was great and I would certainly recommed to my family and friend.

This hotel was wonderful. The pool and saunas were a great place to relax with a wonderful view of LaPaz. Even though LaPaz may not be the cleanest city, but what South American city is really clean, it is a beautiful city that has so much to offer and this hotel is a great place to stay for the price. I recommend this hotel but also reccomend staying in LaPaz and Bolivia longer then just a few days. You will not regret it.
